This repair balm has a natural lavendar scent to it. I personally am not a fan of lavendar scent. My adult daughter, on the other hand, likes lavendar and she says this product smells really great to her. I'm not letting the scent affect my rating either way. I just wanted to share that it smells like lavendar. In any case, it's not a strong scent and it disappates quickly. Also, since I'm not putting this on my face, I don't mind the lavendar too much.I like the way it feels on my skin. It feels very gentle and soothing. It feels very hydrating. It glides on well, and seems to be long lasting.My daughter tried it with me too. She has a patch of irritated skin on her wrist, and she said that it did not make it feel more irritated. She put it on half the patch. There was a noticeable difference between the part of where she applied it, and where she didn't. The area that she didn't apply it felt more rough.Overall, both my daugther and I like this product very much.

Ordered this Gaman repair balm as I have issues with dry skin.It arrived in an attractive box. Though it was not sealed it was pristine, and clearly brand new.Info on the box was helpful. While not listed, I'm also using it on my lips.The balm is a true balm - thicker then vaseline. You only need a little bit at a time as it spreads out to cover a larger area then expected.It feels great on. Scent is very mild. The only time I notice any scent is when applying it to my lips - then a faint lavender scent can be detected.The tub will last a long time, and suspect I will be reordering. A good value if you are in need of intense moisture.

This oil balm is super moisturizing and hydrating for dry skin like mine, and I'd love to use it all over, but I just can't get past the scent. I don't really know what it is but it smells a little pungent like maybe lemon or lemongrass but with a medicinal or antiseptic side to it. Like maybe cleaning products or insect repellent. Full disclosure I am pretty sensitive to smell and react this way to a lot of "natural" products. Which maybe aren't even scented but for some reason carry a scent because of the natural oils used. Long story short I love all the emollients but because of the scent it's just not something I would seek out again. I'm going to try to keep it to use on my feet and legs because they are so dry and it feels great on, and maybe I can tolerate it more if it's not too close to my nose. I would adore it with a different smell or completely unscented but maybe you will like it, I am just super picky that way.
