Does Kido contain retinol?
Yes, alongside bakuchiol, kojic acid, alpha arbutin and Centella asiatica. Because of the retinol, use it at night, wear sunscreen every morning, and start with three nights a week if you are new to retinoids.
Is it safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
No. Kido contains retinol and is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Izumi (retinol-free) is the alternative for renewal.
How long until I see results?
In an independent 30-day study (45 participants, March 2025) 87% noticed a more luminous glow and 73% said their tone looked more even by day 30. Pigmentation changes slowly, so consistency and daily SPF matter more than anything else.
Is it gentle enough for sensitive skin?
